How did Krikya Oi get started?

When Krikya Oi launched in 2018, online betting platforms in Bangladesh were few and far between. Most of those that existed were in foreign languages, incompatible with local payment methods, and built without Bangladeshi users in mind.

The founders of Krikya Oi were a group of young people who loved betting themselves. They asked a simple question: what if there were a platform built specifically for Bangladeshi users — in Bangla, with local payment methods, and cricket at its heart? Krikya Oi was born from that idea.
